Khasi Bloodz

K-Bloodz is comprised of Donbok Kharkongor aka D-Bok, Ritik Roy Malngiang aka Big-Ri and Lamonte Pakyntien.

Though the group has been inspired by the old school hip hop that was propagated by Tupac Amaru Shakur aka 2Pac, Christopher George Latore Wallace known popularly as “The Notorious B.I.G”, Andre Romelle Young aka Dr Dre and others this genre, K-Bloodz has added its own touch to the genre making its songs unique and steeped in the flovours of the region.

“We sing both in Khasi and English. We chose this genre because God gave us the talent to rap. We have been listening to hip hop since we were kids,” said lead vocalist Jason Carter Kharchandy.
